On being corporate

As a knowledge manager I took a disciplined approach, focusing on the areas that supported the organisation:

  • the people finder – a directory to help find out ‘who’s who’ and ‘who’s where’
  • the corporate memory – a ‘who knows why things are the way they are’
  • getting to know people and introducing them to others who might benefit from their knowledge – ‘who knows what and how’.
